The best close-range battle in NS

Tribute continues with the best close range combat ever seen in Shippuden. My opinion might differ from other fans so bear with me and my rambling. To be frank, most of close combat involved shinobi with no extra ordinary power, no kekkei genkai and kekkei touta, no secret jutsu passed down by family and sort of. They are just normal shinobi with normal abilities.

Hatake Kakashi vs Uchiha Obito

Source : Youtube; Minato Channel

Kakashi does fight like normal shinobi, no extra hidden jutsu inspite being Rodaime Hokage. He fight smart, analyzing his opponent quickly and come up with effective counter attack. I admit both of them possessed a sharingan and Obito is manipulating the dimension using Kamui. However there are scenes where both fight within close combat kumitte style in their Kamui dimension and during their time as teammates. Those are the best superb close combat from a normal shinobi you'll ever watch.

Sarutobi Asuma vs Hidan
This is an emotional scene where Asuma fall into Hidan's trap and die in the battle. I do feel this close range fight is exactly how it should be done, despite both are equipped with personal weapon. The way they attacks and counter their opponent's move is just strong and steadfast, leaving the audience with awe of excitement.

Maito Guy vs Hoshigaki Kisame
They met and fight several times but Guy does not remember Kisame, at all. The best combat might be the one on the "moving island" where Naruto is learning to control Kyubi from Killer Bee. Kisame hide within Samehada to collect some intel to be given to Akatsuki. The messege was succesfully send however Kisame dies fighting Guy.

Maito Guy vs Uchiha Madara
I just love how a guy without any ninjutsu and genjutsu skill defeat someone so full of everything. Madara is a ten-tail jinchuuriki, possess Sharingan and Rinnegan, excel in ninjutsu, having truthseeker orbs protecting him and still couldn't outdo Guy. This is the truth about power and its way of changing our perspectives. Undermining others will surely bring disaster, right. Their fight might not be a close-range one but the taijutsu shown are often used in kumitte combat style. Go Guy.

I'm sure there are a lot of fighting scenes in which you think will surpass my picks. I guess everyone thinks differently right. I will review on the smartest fighting style ever in NS in the next post.
